Episode 44

“What??” Ciara thundered, snapping around to look at the girls.

She couldn’t believe what they just said! “What happened?

How is she not inside? I personally watched her go into that room!
Why is she now nowhere to be found?” Ciara asked, really frustrated.

One of the girls shrugged. “She might be a witch.”

“I took care of her powers already! Shit!!” Ciara smacked her forehead.

“We should just give up on this girl,Ciara. I’m like…fed up, trying to get her out of here! She’s extremely powerful.” One of the girls said and others agreed with her.

Ciara sighed. She was at the brink of tears knowing where she would be.

“You know what, girls? Just….go. Return to your blocks.” She said and turned away while the girls all went away.

“What’s all these? I can’t take this anymore!”, She wept and took off, running into the darkness.

The next morning, the Sky Squared compound became so crowded, with people walking to and fro, getting ready for camp which was taken place in a City name Blaze.

It was actually a place created by the past leaders.

And it has been chosen for the camp location.

Tanya woke up with a start and sat up in bed, looking around the beautiful familiar room.

Where was she?

She tried to remember she when she finally did,she quickly got down from the bed.

“It’s camp today! I have to get ready!” She rasped, looking for her slippers on the ground.

“You don’t have to return to your room. Get dress from here.” Craig said, coming out of his private room.

Tanya froze and stopped on seeing him. He was shirtless and she took all the courage in her body not to glance at him.

“Good morning, master.” She greeted and turned away.

Craig noticed her attitude and almost smiled but refrained. “What happened last night?”

“Huh?” Tanya asked and stared at the floor, remembering what happened.

“I…was scared, master.” She replied.

“Scared? Of what?” Craig asked again.

“I was feeling wield. It wasn’t a good feeling master.”, Tanya shook her head.

“I see. Get ready.” Craig said and walked past her into the bathroom.

Tanya sighed and walked out of the room. She wasn’t really comfortable getting dressed in his room there and moreover, she was so bothered about Ciara causing troubles on such an extraordinary day.

Craig returned back to the room and looked around, noticing that Tanya was already gone.

He walked over to his wardrobe and pulled out his new wears before calling for Dagger who came into the room immediately, obviously dressed.

“Yes master.” Dagger replied, bowing.

“Send for Ciara.” He ordered, checking out the new pair of ironed shirt..

“Yes, master Craig.” Dagger replied and left the room.

Craig was wearing wearing his dark and heavy boots when Dagger returned to the room.

“Master? I couldn’t find Ciara ” he replied.

“What do you mean?” Craig asked, without looking up from his boots.

Dagger swallowed. “Her friends told me they haven’t seen her since this morning and most of her things are gone too. I think….”

Craig sat up and looked at him. “You think what?”

“She left the academy.” Dagger completed.

Craig stared at the ground, thinking why she would do that.

And how possible it could be.

“You may leave. Get the rest of the boys ready and the car…we are leaving in ten minutes.” He ordered but Craig stood still, staring at Craig.

“Master…..you can’t leave without Ciara. No master is expected to go to camp without his…”

“Dagger…just do as I say.” Craig said lowly and Dagger bowed then left immediately before he incurred his wrath.

Craig stared on, wondering why Ciara left the academy.

(Blaze City)

The estate was filled up as people put up their tents beside the mighty buildings.

The coordinates stood behind counters, giving out room numbers.

Most of the young people lurked around, smoking and drinking, having a lot of fun while others focused on getting a room to rest.

Tiara was one of the people trying to get a room number and when she finally did,she breathed in a sigh of relief and traced it immediately.

She got to the block which was closer to the big gates and traced the room number. The hallway was filled up and she had to fight her way in.

She finally saw the room and knew someone was in there already.

She would be having a roommate of course.

“Finally.” Tanya sighed and knocked at the door.

“Come in.”, A bored voice replied from inside.

Tanya turned the door knob and walked in with her back then froze at the door as she saw the person in the room.

“Maureen?” Tanya called almost frustrated. Why did she have to be in the same room with this grumpy lady?

“What? Don’t be a drama queen and come in. That’s your bed over there.”, Maureen rolled her eyes.

Okay, that was a little welcoming. Tanya though as she walked over to the second bed.

She placed her bag under the bed and looking around. It was nice looking room – not too big though.

The floor was neatly tiled and the curtains had a matching color with the duvet on the beds.

“I can’t wait to get out of Sky Squared. I’m fed up this life…..no parties,no music,no fun! Goodness! I miss my life in California.” Maureen suddenly said, staring at the floor.

Tanya stared at her,her heart melting to hear her speak that way for the first time.

“You miss your family too?” Tanya asked softly and was surprised to see tears rolling down Maureen’s eyes.

“My twin. I miss her. The thought always wanna kill me.”

“Oh my God, Maureen. I’m so sorry.” Tanya mumbled and Maureen quickly wiped her face.

“Yeah. It’s okay. I should have gotten used to it by now. We have to get ready for the first activity tonight.” Maureen announced and Tanya stared at her.

“Which is?”

“The tournament.”

Ciara whimpered as she walked towards the temple, feeling so cold.

She had a bag with her, looking miserable and windblown.

She coughed as she moves closer to the temple and sighed as soon as she finally got there.

Looking so determined, she walked into the temple.

“Priestess! Priestess!!” Ciara screamed out.

Tabitha appeared immediately, wondering who the hell was screaming out her name like that. “You? Again? What are you doing here again!” She asked, coming forward.

Ciara dropped her bag, glaring angrily at Tabitha. “I know your plans…. I know you are about to strike Sky Squared and I’m here to join you.”,

Tabitha’s eyes dimmed. ” What did you say?”

“I’m here to join you.” Ciara said again more loudly.
